"Agenomics!! / KIMIROSU / Upper Ranbu" is a triple A-side single released in February of 2019 by Up Up Girls (Kari).[1]
About the Single[]
Up Up Girls (Kari) announced a new single, slated for release in February, during their concert on December 27th, 2018. After performing 80 of their songs over the span of over 6 hours, they ended their "All Songs Concert" with "Agenomics!!".[2] Originally announced as a double A-side, it was revealed on January 23rd the single would consist of 3 songs.[1] This single is the first to feature 3 A-sides in nearly 3 years and the first triple A-side release from the 5-member lineup.
The first song, "Agenomics!!," is a combination of the word "age" アゲ or 上げ (above or up) and the suffix "-nomics". The song title roughly means "the law of rising". Age is both in references to excitement (ageru or 上げる means to raise, normally used by UUG (K) as to get excitement) and the "Up Up" in their names as 上げ means up.
